Tayla Parx is an American singer, songwriter, actress, and entrepreneur. In 2018, Parx co-wrote three Billboard Hot 100 top ten singles: “Love Lies” by Khalid and Normani, “Thank U, Next” by Ariana Grande, and “High Hopes” by Panic! at the Disco. Her contributions to Ariana Grande’s album “Thank U, Next” (2019) and Justin Bieber’s album “Justice” (2020) earned her two Grammy Award nominations for Album of the Year.

In the American musical “Hairspray,” Tayla played Little Inez, the talented younger sister of Seaweed and daughter of Motormouth Maybelle. Little Inez first appears during the record hop, cheering Tracy on as she steals the spotlight. Her first speaking scene occurs when Seaweed introduces her to Tracy, Link, and Penny.
In the 2007 film adaptation of “Hairspray,” Tayla reprised her role as Little Inez.
